Lake Lemon

Went out on Lemon Sunday despite the rain first fish of the day was 4.2 lbs. Largemouth landed four more keepers then started crappie fishing and brought home a limit plus threw that many more back they were really biting good i was fishing two poles and doubling up on them quite a bit good day .

Another day on the pond

Well after sittin around all day yesterday thinkin it would be a good day to fish if the wind wasnt blowin 40 mph I decided to give the pond a try pull two like the one in the pic on a Scounger jig head with a Strike King Shadalicious soft bodied swim bait. Now if you like to fish these kinds of baits but haven't tried the scrounger jig head i highly suggest it it gives great action to the swim bait ,lets you fish at a variety of depths and makes virtually snag proof and since you are fishing with the hook exposed it results in more hook ups before I came across these I always fished them on a waited hook and that worked well although they werent as versatile as they are with the jig head give it a try and you wont be disapointed.

Booyah Part 2

Just another victim of the Booyah Buzzbait Im just sayin that most fishermen only think of throwin buzzbaits when its hot and water temps are high. I have great luck with them all year long fall fishing is good and these early spring big boys exploded on it in 43 degree water.

What a difference a day makes

Went to the school pond yesterday and within an hour landed 15 bass on anything I threw. Went back today and only managed three maybe ill never figure it out.

Booyah!

Pulled this one from the pond behind the house Friday morning on a black Booyah buzzbait. T he picture doesnt do it justice felt like an easy 5 lbs. hard to take good pictures holdina fish with your phone.

A few more pics ones I caught yesterday
